Thumbs up

Well, personal preference of course- but I chose to do it and like it! Here's how it looks on my car:

I use dental floss, I'm afraid any kind of wire might scratch the paint. Nylon fishing line might work too...
EDIT: Just realized you probably meant nylon fishing "wire" (line).

I'm thinking of doing it, but only because the GS 400 badge seems to be slightly crooked. Does anyone else have this issue?

I say leave everything on.
Don't you guys want people to know what your driving?
Of course people educated with cars know but a lot
of people don't.
Plus, when you debadge a car like a GS, people are
probably going to think it's a 300.

Just my opinion.

thats true about uneducated ppl.
first gen. LS400s didn't come with the LS400 emblem and someone made the comment that i had taken it off cuz i didn't want ppl to kno i had a LS300 (and this model doesn't even exist)

i do think its pretty clean looking to take em off tho... id take off my "lexus" emblem if there werent all those stupid holes behind it

I took mine off. Had to put them back on though. Seems that there was some work done on the trunk prior to my taking the car and the painters painted over the adhesive instead of taking it off. Very sloppy work.
