Default Which exhaust tip?

Hi gang -

I just got these in the mail today. What you think? Yah...I know...similar to L-tuned tips...in size and shape....but they are a little different at the tip openings. One is more Oval (left)....while the other is more Round (right).

Tip #1 (left pic) is more Oval:
Horizontal tip opening = 3 3/4"
Vertical tip opening = 3 1/4"

Tip #2 (right pic) is more Round:
Horizontal tip opening = 3 11/16"
Vertical tip opening = 3 3/8"

Which one looks better?

Pete

It seems that the one on the right is more of a brighter/shiner chrome than the one on the left...but it could be just the pic. Disregarding that, I'd say go with the more oval looking design.

I would go with the one that takes up most of the holes which i think would be the oval one

I like them both, but I think the oval one would look better cuz it would fill the hole up more.

Yes....the OEM exhaust pipes are oval too...but vertically oval. The tip inlet is round....2 3/8". And these tip openings are horizontically oval (as you can see).

Btw....I test fitted them last night...and it fit PERFECTLY!! There's about a 1/16" gap at the top and the bottom.

Lastly, both are about 4 1/2" wide (outer horizontal diameter).

Both are shiny....but I got my fingerprints all over them when I took pics (OOPS!!).

I like the oval one more, but both are pretty nice. Where did you get them and how much are they?

I like them both. I think it would be hard to tell the difference if tey were on two different cars.

OK guyz....here's the deal.

I spoke with the CA dealer today.....he's offering this tip $35 each + shipping (but only if you mention my name...Peter from Hawaii). If you fail to mention my name....he'll charge retail price..YIKES!!. CA residents have to pay 8.25% state tax. No pickups...its a one-man operation to keep prices down. Major credit cards and Paypal accepted.

Inventory is about 50....from what he told me. When its all gone...Its All Gone!!

If you're interested....PM me for the contact info.

Peter

btw....here's a pic of the outside diameter....which should fit really well. Inlet size in 2 3/8". Length of tip is about 8". Tip is oval with a slant....just like the L-tuned tip. The tip is polished stainless stell and Double-Walled to prevent heat discoloration. Each tip weighs about 2 lbs.
