Default Interesting Spoiler story

Ok so its like 1 degree out here and like -30 with wind chill....
i go out to my car from work, pop the trunk, put my backpack in, close the trunk....**CRACK**

ok so i bet you guys are all, what was the CRACK!?!?!?!

my spoiler, URETHANE, cracked in half (the short way)!

i cant believe this....

my car got keyed in nov....got insurance loot and waiting for late winter to fix....
one of my rims cracked last week......

now this! sucks so much.

So i guess, just like how bad leads to good, whats hot for spoilers right now? haha.
i mean, i dont wanna just get a stock/stock looking wing...but also nothing flamboyant.

are there even any non stock looking spoilers out ther? The wing in the veilside 6 piece kit right? bit is there any others? oh wait, not the little weird RMM one, im not into that.

Any suggestions? Im gonna post in classifieds to as a WTB.

wow thats crazy, i've never heard of a stock spoiler doing that like that.....u should probably contact lexus corp even if u r going 2 get another type of spoiler. if they replace it 4 u down the line u can just sell or keep it incase u want 2 put it back....

yeah. i couldnt believe it.

after all that my poor car has been goin thru....i was like r u serious?

The only thing interesting I could find out there was the Blitz Ricey wing (this guy on overboost has it, only place ive ever really seen it) and the Veilside (not the exe).

Im leaning toward the veilside....found if for $560. anyone know where it would be cheaper?

i kinda want the veilside hood now too.....

It sucks cuz a spoiler is so simple...i was happy with the one on there and if im gonna spend like 200 for a factory-like replacement I feel like i might as well invest and get something different.

Anyone have suggestions outside of blitz and veilside?

That sucks man, maybe the Veilside would let you get around repainting your trunk?

I meant if you take the factory spoiler off, maybe you dont have to fill the factory holes to put on the Veilside (non-executive) spoiler!

Good luck man

Yeah man its like record lows here in the North East. This weather is all from Canada. Who knows what they did to blow it all over here but it isn't funny.

Bost,
i'm still tryin' to figure out how it cracked. Lord knows it's a serious chill out, but dang, did you drop
the trunk from 3 feet or what? i try to tell wifey not to do that even in the summer. she's finally
getting the hint, but i can give her this story and she'll be real gentle on the baby for sure.
i back bluelex on this one. check out Lexus to see if you can get some satisfaction with a payback.
this is a Lexus, not a yugo.
