Default The Ultimate GS for 2005

Not sure exactly what kind of features the new '05 GS will have but here is a list if things that I would love to see happen:

3 different engine choices:

Standard 3.3 Liter V6 Hybrid producing 275HP for all GS330's and getting at least 50mpg
Standard 4.3 Liter V8 Hybrid producing 350HP for all GS430's and getting at least 40mpg
Optional 5.0 Liter Supercharged V8 Hybrid producing 450HP for the new GS500 (i wish) and getting at least 35mpg

Optional manual transmission for all GS430's and GS500's.

All GS430's and GS500's get an optional all-wheel drive setting customized.
Basically being able to switch from the standard rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive with a push of a button (if even possible).

All GS500's having all the available luxury features the LS430 has including climate control seats, 2 different suspension settings, etc. etc.

18" wheels standard on all GS models with optional 19" and 20" wheels available.

a kickin' new body style that looks NOTHING like the LF-S concept vehicle. Something with more sharper edges like the 05' M45 perhaps.

There are a few other things I would like to see added, but thats most of it.
I really hope they don't dissapoint us. With all this waiting around for 7 years, they really need to step it up a notch and really set a new standard for luxury. I guess we'll find out soon enough !

Very good, but out of all of that you forgot the most important thing......THE BUBBLE LIGHTS
A GS isn't a GS if it isn't protected by bubble lens.

You described a sweet GS500!!!! I hope it's nothing like the concept car body style. I like the all-wheel drive and standard tranny. It worked well for my old VR4...screeming launches.

I've been perusing the LS430 brochure of late (damn, that car looks good with sports package). There are so many things that the LS has that I sure hope make it into the GS. They include (and remember, all of these are in the current 2004 LS).

Sports Package
Heated/Cooled Seats (yes, with more than one setting)
Real door handles
Smart Access
Backup Camera
Intuitive Parking Assist

The one thing I hope is not on there is the wood steering wheel. So nice to look at, so terrible in function.

oh and I would like Satellite Radio too - looks like it is available in the LS but it is dealer installed. I'll take factory installed please.
