Ticking noise after long running periods?
Hey all. Not necessarily urgent, but sometimes after running my GS4 for a long drive (1hr plus), I'll start to hear a ticking coming from under the hood, but only when I pull into the garage at my place, or at my friend's place in the mountains where it's dead quiet. Friend advised to just get a chunkier three row radiator to help with cooling, which I did anyway because the Denso unit RockAuto sent me had a hole in it. But after driving for about an hour or two straight, the ticking came back.
I've heard our injectors can tick quite loudly. Maybe a crank/cam sensor or VVT actuator? I don't have any codes for any of these items, and in fact the only code I've ever gotten in five months and 7000 miles was for the evap hose on the driver's side ripping off the hard line before I had the motor mounts replaced. Any thoughts?

Can you narrow down the source of the noise? You can get a stethoscope for auto repair from AutoZone or Amazon or whatever, it will help you pinpoint the source of your noise and then it would be easier to determine the problem and solution
Forgot to post an update but I'm certain it's just injector tick. Read some older UZ posts about people experiencing ticking sounds but only in garages and drive thrus, which is exactly where I'm hearing it.
