Hi guys

I recently bought an Aristo JZS161 - the airflow to the windscreen and passenger side vent is working normally but middle vents and drivers side vent have little to no airflow at all, previous owner in Japan had a flip out CD thing that came up over the middle vents and blocked off these vents with a piece of plastic in between the duct and vent but I have removed and still no luck.

I checked the cabin filter and blower motor but they’re all fine and there is obscure noise coming from any of the servos but the could be so dead they aren’t making noise anymore hahah

Does anyone have any ideas before the mechanic tells me he needs to take out the dash

 

Have you pulled those center vents out? The whole section comes out pretty easily and then you can look and see if there is something blocking them off? The only other possibility I can think of would be that the servo is acting up or something, but I would bet you find the last owner put a rag in there, because of his stereo or something
