Help
Not sure which part you’re referring to specifically, but my first guess would be that your asking about the rubber isolator that goes between the top of the strut and the body that gives some cushion between 2 pieces of metal that need something with a little flex to keep the meta from becoming fatigued over time. Usually these will last as long as the struts and should be replaced with the struts you could also be referring to the bump stop that gives the strut a cushion if you ever bottom out the strut, something that rarely happens. And the last thing that could be possible is the top-hat which is the top piece of the strut assembly. It’s a metal piece but it has a rubber bushing to keep the spring from klanging around on hard bumps. Can you see the issue on your car well enough to get a picture of it? These pieces should all be available separately on eBay or rokAuto or wherever, so you could look up them up and see what they look like
These are the front struts, currently it’s sitting on metal n metal right now. I tried searching for rubber isolator but nothing shows up and the one that shows up on auto zone does not look to be the same part. Do I buy this part separately or does it come with another part?
Could the isolator be this part on the left? But the listing say it’s for the rears

Your question is legitimate. I had the same thing a few years ago when I was rebuilding my front struts. Unfortunately, these insulators are never listed in the parts catalog. I washed mine and they were made as a clear silicone sleeve on the ends of the springs. I'm guessing it was part of the OEM front springs that no one ever ordered to take a picture of. But I can assure you that even if they are cracked, it won't make any difference once reinstalled.
