Traction control is very slow to react. Any fixes for this?

Traction control is very slow to react. Any fixes for this?
First of all, i am comparing the trac control vs our e39 bimmer. as soon as the tire starts to slip, the bimmer corrects it. when i am in the gs4, the tire will spin for at least 1 or 4 secs before it begins to correct it. Is that normal? Any fixes OTHER than the lsd?
