Has anyone run into this code before? Did a search in the 2GS forums, but couldn't find anything. I found a handful of threads in the other model forums that mentioned possibly changing a module that might be located under the dash somewhere, but that code was for a B1100/31. My code doesn't have the "/31" attached to it.
My car is usually parked in a garage, but during Hurricane Beryl, it was parked outside when it hit Houston. It stayed outside for 2 days, so the rain and then Texas heat hit it. It's been awhile since my car has seen that much rain/heat
I've already disconnected the battery, let it sit for 30 min, removed steering wheel airbag, disconnected/reconnected airbag, and turned everything back on. Light still comes back on after 10 seconds.
I did notice that when I was driving to work in the morning, the light was still on. Stopped off at the gas station to fill up on gas. Started the car back up again and the light disappeared the rest of the drive to work, which was about 15 minutes. When I started my drive home in the evening, the light came back on w10 seconds after I started the car.
Could it be the clock spring? I might disconnect the battery again and try disconnecting/reconnecting the connectors underneath the seat as well.
Thanks I think I saw this similar diagram over in the GX forum. Is it the "Diagnostic Module" from this diagram of the airbag components of my 1998 GS400?

31 is just the check engine light flashes when DLC is grounded, 31 is flash, flash, flash pause and flash.
Thanks, so just go through the steps on page 3 to see if I need to replace the Airbag Sensor Assembly? I have never see this part before, so is it part 9 from the below diagram?
