Default GS400 heater

Well since it is finally starting to cool off here I have started using the heater in the mornings. I have noticed however that when I switch the "mode" to the floor only vents nothing comes out but I can hear the heater blowing air. I've left it on high fan on floor only and it never heats ups, I can turn it to dash vents and immediately get blasted by hot air however. I'm assuming a valve or vaccum problem is whats causing this but I'm open to suggestions on how to fix it.

Seth

I have a similar issue. My car's climate control is set to the default "auto" (with the in A/C on, by default) set at 75 degrees. It will be approx. 30-40 degrees out, and while my coolant temperature is at the middle needle (between C and H with the car warmed up), it seems like my car's climate control is NOT blowing out hot air at all (if anything, "warm" air). Anyone with this issue?

During the warm months, the A/C and climate control works fine--it's just now that it seems like the heater is not working properly (i.e. not hot enough), maybe a stuck valve? After about 15-20 min of driving the interior temperature of the car seems fine (if anything a touch "colder" than I would expect for the 75 degree setting, like I had it set at 70 degrees), however, even then 20 minutes seems unecessarily too long to warm up the interior of the car.

Anyone with ideas?
