Default Headlight question

Hey everyone, I have a 2001, Halogen and need new headlights. There are a thousand different options in the after market. I want either a black chrome or OEM style, no LED strips, none of that. Basically a replacement set. Which brand do you recommend? I want to try and keep it under $300 for the set.

Thanks in advance!

Depo is a legitimate manufacturer of aftermarket replacements.

If your current set is unsalvageable, I would purchase a factory set from the junk yard or eBay. Then take apart the factory headlights (see YouTube video link below) and spray paint the chrome bezels to your desired color. Its another way to customize the look of your factory headlights without the cheap look you tend to see with aftermarket headlights. If the lenses are yellowed, use a lens clearing kit to clear them up. Make sure to clear coat the lenses to keep them looking clear and shiny. Adding Paint Protection Film (PPF) on top of the clear coat would prevent the lenses from ever yellowing again.

Below is an example of what I did to my factory headlights. I did the same thing to my factory fog lights so they would match the headlights. Just be aware that the lenses for the fog lights are made of glass. So they will never turn yellow or cloudy unlike the lenses of our factory headlights which are made of plastic....
