2004 Gs300 fix

I have a 2004 Gs300, i put too many quarters in the cigarette tray in front of the shifter and now it won’t open, any way i can fix it?

Pull the entire ashtray assembly out of the dashboard. Simply move the gear lever to position L, grasp the ashtray firmly and pull it out. Disconnect the wire connector from the back and disassemble the door mechanism to remove the contents inside.

How should i grasp the ashtray if it’s stuck shut?
