my power steering pump has recently carked itself and i am needing a new one, looking for second hand, anyone know if this is specific to this model or if i can find any 2jz-ge and itll work?

 

It's not hard to find in the US, but in New Zealand it sounds difficult. The eBay sellers may be able to ship it to you.
In general, any 2JZ-GE / GTE pump will work. You may need to replace the outlet pressure control solenoid and pressure sensor / idle air control valve from your pump.
Depending on the year of your vehicle, some models had a vacuum idle control valve, and later models were equipped with a pressure sensor to signal the ECU to request a higher idle speed.
