Got mine done this past weekend.
Here are the pros and cons I can think of at the moment:

Pro's: Looks Good, it's custom, easy to do, you can adjust your climate setting & the screen isn't in the way, and the screen is nice and high up, it's easy to view.

Con's: There isn't enough space up there to flush mount your head unit (AC box gets in the way ), & when the screen is up, it blocks the AC vents.

I knew I should have asked him...but if you look at it, seems like you'd have to modify the AC air box in there...maybe cut it and reform it, but it's plastic so fiberglass will just melt it. I'll look into it.

Oh, and yes! I do need a new shift ****...where can I get one...how much?

Question change bezels?

when youmoved your ac controls to the bottom, did you have to cut a whole new plastic bezel for the cd player, i have a fiberglass bezel made for my dvd/nav pioneer unit, it prob would not fit well, but curious if i could just flip flop them, thanks bryan

No you'd have to cut a new piece since the top is bigger than the bottom. Since I had the stock unit before I just put this one in I had to make a plate anyway. Besides that, all you have to do it cut the climate control face a little bit on each side.

I think fireballs is talking about modifying his already aftermarket stereo and wants to know if the current custom bezel will fit if mounted higher up..since it's bigger up there, it wouldn't work.

SilverLexo is probably the third person I know of, who has performed the climate control mod.

Good Job by the way !
