I am in the market for a second set of rims. I am particularly looking into getting gs400 non-chrome wheels. Those look really good on our cars and you can get a set for under $1,000.

Default Wheels

Clean lookin car, about the wheels, if you are sticking to 17's I would just get the newer chrome 5 stars like I have, I think unless you are gonna go larger like 19's or 20's aftermarket wheels kinda look cheesy on this car, but thats just my opinion. Nice stereo set-up I have a similar Eclipse set up in mine.
nice name too, I think I have the same one.

Default Lowering

I forgot, about lowering, I think it is a must with the 1st generation, cause the thing sits so high. I wouldn't worry about the ride you won't lose much at all and it will handle better, and to fill that wheel well gap is a must also.

Hey what do you all think the silver OZ opera rims would look like on y2kr1's car. Mine is the same color and I was considering them...

Those are nice rims. I plan to get those as a backup. BTW I have 19's and I don't think they are cheesy. I get compliments all the time regarding my rims. It all depends on the type of 19, 20 inch rims you purchase. Some are classy while some are trashy.

Here is a pic of my Carlsson's in which those Oz are identical too. This will give you some sort of idea.

Default Hahhaha Exactly

Exatcly, I said unless you are going to get 19's or 20's they might look cheesy. you have 19's, therefore I wasn't refering to your set up, 18's can look good but I was just giving my opinion cause I see alot of GS's that aren't lowered that look silly.
