What exact coolant to use for 1993
I am doing a coolant flush. I just need to know which exact coolant to use. The book says to use ethylene glycol coolant and not the alcohol one. When I flushed it the coolant was orange which I assumed was rust but I think that the original coolant may have been pink or orange. So I’m not sure if I can use green or not

I wouldn't use green in our systems. Toyota used red back then, which probably turned orange over time. Nowadays they run pink. You can run either red (concentrate) or pink (50/50 premixed) from toyota. Pick it up at any toyota dealership. I recommend buying 1 gallon of toyota red (part # 00272-1LLAC-01) and 2 gallons of distilled water from your local drug store/riteaid/walgreens

That Aisin ACT002 is the same price as the toyota red, but you'll need 3 gallons of the premixed which makes it cost 3x as much. Or you can buy 1 gallon of red concentrate for 15-20 bucks and spend 2-3 dollars on 2 gallons of distilled water and you've saved yourself tons of money. Just my advice!

I keep flushing the system out with distilled water and a prestone radiator flush+cleaner and it still keeps coming out brown after 4-5 flushes should I keep flushing it or is there something I need to replace? The car never overheats and the heat gets super hot. I just want to flush it so that it’s entirely clean and so that I can finally put in antifreeze before it starts dropping down to 32° over where I reside.

4-5 flushes is probably quite more than even shops would do, usually only doing one or two chemical flushes for clogged heater cores. I say that you should flush it with just distilled water once more to get any of the prestone cleaner out, and fill it up with 1 gallon of Toyota red # 00272-1LLAC-01 and 2 gallons of distilled and make sure to use a funnel kit like the Lisle #24680 which helps get air bubbles out of the these systems by raising the coolant point 6-8" above the motor/heater core. You should be good to go for the winter after that. Although I believe mixing the red 50/50 with distilled would prove protection to -30 °F. I've always done 33/66 for down to +20°F with no issues.

I thought that too but I’m not worried about bleeding the air out of the system I’m more worried about properly cleaning it out before I add antifreeze cause every time i flush it I bleed the air out no problem it never over heats and the heat works good (it comes out super hot) the water keeps coming out brownish/orangeish I’m not too sure but I think someone may have accidentally put green coolant in my car before I had it not knowing it needed pink

Yeah its hard to say how many times you would have to repeat that to make it clear. But I imagine the more of that crud you get out the better as that is what clogs your heater core.
