I was told that you have the "s" sounding like "sh" on your radio (almost as if there is static). I have that problem now. I have eveything stock except for that I have an aftermarket CD Changer. I hope you know what i am talking about. The radio does not do that, but most of my CDs do! How did you correct your problem? Please Help!

 

Who told you about my amp issue? Damn I know too many guys on this board!!!

This problem comes from water splashing from your spare tire well onto your factory amp. the fix it to get a new factory amp. Just to make sure its the same problem, when you start the car, your stereo plays just fine, then after you drive for a while you start getting the distortion, less so when playing the radio?

If so, find a new factory amp

I want to get a newer 430 bad but am gonna wait a little while, need to buy a crib soon, and I am under 25 with a not so good record so my insurance will probably be rediculous, but we'll see, I am contemplating colors daily.

 

Never that homey, I'm just same ol' D! Thinking of either a 99-00 SC or 00-01 GS3or4. I just want something that is fresh with decent mileage (40-50k) to kinda start over again.

The only reason I'm not on the 1st Gen board as much is because it gets VERY quiet in here (1-2 new posts a day). So I end up reading the SAME posts over and over.

But even with that, I'm here more than YOU, where the heck you been?
