Default Stop lights not working

Hey guys,

I recently pulled off my stock rear bar to test fit my new fibreglass one and in doing so also connected the new lights that the new bumper had (the new one has a few extra lights that run off the same circuit as the number plate lights) when I did this I noticed that none of the bulbs worked but I just assumed that was because they were blown. I have now put the stock bar back on but I have no stop lights, I have checked every connector, replaced all the bulbs and still nothing. The stop and tail fuses are all still good but I'm stumped at this point. With the head lights on the normal rear running lights turn on (1st filament in the bulb) but when I hit the brakes the 2nd filament doesn't turn on. I know the brakes are working and the switch is fine because cruise control still turns off and the 3rd brake light on my parcel shelf also lights up.

Any hints would be awesome.

Thanks
