radiator hoses
anyone here has tried changing the upper and lower radiator hoses?
since i have over 125000 miles, im thinking of changing them and most likely change
the thermostat also. im plnning to buy the TRD thermostat from carson toyota this wknd.
i hear good things about it. it helps temperature to run a little cooler of the car by opening
of the thermostat a bit early and letting the coolant flow.

I add Redline Water Wetter to my cooling system, it lowers the temperature by 10-15 degrees. I've been using this stuff on my other cars for the last 10 years and it keeps my cars running cooler. I also use 25% antifreeze instead of 50% because it helps keep my car a little cooler too.
Oh, changing the radiator hoses is pretty easy, just unclamp the old ones and then clamp on the new ones. Changing the hoses on a car that has over 100k miles is good preventative maintainance because the hoses get old over time and it is hard to tell if it is about to burst.

I put on the foglights when I got home the night I bought them from you. They are working well, I just have to adjust the aim of my headlights & foglights so they cover as much of the road as possible.
