'94 GS cranking but not starting?
Hey guys, new here. I'm doing some digging right now and research on this matter but figured I could also benefit from posting a thread. I know it cranks and I've tested it myself but it does not actually fire up. I've tried pumping the gas pedal a bit but from what I saw it did nothing, although I know it's not a power issue I'm unsure at this moment what it could be. From searching I saw thoughts such as the fuel pump, spark plugs, etc but all of those seem fine from what my dad was also able to explain. He did mention that when trying to start, gas will end up leaking out of the exhaust towards the front of the car. He is under the impression it's one of a couple things: crankshaft pos. sensor, camshaft pos. sensor / or the ECT (engine coolant temp.) sensor.
Edit (2-4-18): Found a few helpful links regarding the sensors on the 2JZGE!

BUMP. - Just tried starting up the GS300 after a little bit of cleanup so I could check for spark and instead of cranking its now making this horrible metal on metal noise like the starter is having a hell of a time engaging, just sounds like a loud grinding and I've tried a few things like reconnecting the TB, coil pack cable, etc. Nothing changes and this "no-crank" issue started last night after I set the car on stands. Edit: I lowered the car to see if that would make a difference and it did not.
