Default BMW 740i 6speed manual transmission

Hi guys
have anyone slapped a BMW 6speed transmission at the back of a 2jzgte? I've been researching this for my gs. Everything information wise looks good, but I came across a post somewhere, somebody said the BMW transmission gear ratios with the combination of a Supra differential wouldn't be worth the try as you will have to start in 2nd gear all the time. Unfortunately I can't find the thread at the moment:/. But any inputs?

I did a quick search and found a few kits that would adapt a BMW Getreg trans to a 2JZ and I also found a pretty long post about here on Clublexus.com here is a link.

Why?
something about 1st gear's ratio to the ratios of the Supra diff's will be leggy or something. I'm not positive. I'm looking for the thread I'll post the link here when I find it.

I'm doing a Nissan 350Z CD009 6 speed manual transmission swap right now. You can get an adapter plate from 2 different vendors. I chose Maverick Motorsports and got the twin plate clutch setup. The clutches, flywheel, pressure, adapter, all bolts etc were $2,025. The CD009 transmission used was only $850 shipped to my door. I had to buy the shifter bracket and assembly for $125 as well. Next, I need to buy a clutch pedal, line and master cylinder, drill a hole in the firewall and mount it all.
