Default 1gs with any v8

anyone with 1gs did or doing v8 swap, (1uz,3uz, LS., ect),
how is fitment of the xhaust and transmission?
i plan to drop in a complete 1uz vvti or 3uz and transmission. i think it should bolt in cuz engine mount and transmission mount are pretty much the same as 2gs.
thank you

I have heard a few guys talk about but I have never seen a completed swap. From what I understand in Japan the 1GS had an option of a 1UZ but it only came in AWD. I would definitely love to have a 3UZ mine!! Good look if you move forward with the swap!!

I'm planning on doing a 3UZ swap. I need to pay for the engine to be shipped. Also trying to pick up a R154 to go with it.

The UZS143 came with a V8 and AWD. It will swap right in.

I've seen those cars before. I'm really exited about getting my car set up. I just need to get everything which is taking longer then expected.

yah iam been looking for donor gs430 to do the swap. i want to do complete swap to B.A.R it too.. cuz iam in CA. the swap shouldn't be hard. ive see the 3uz they have on ebay are from LS430, but they have midsump, plus some engine ecu have immobilizer sysem to start engine. if you could find someone to disable the immobilizer system in your area.. then its cool.

good luck

So I'm getting the complete Engine, ECU, and wiring harness out of a LS430, not sure if the imobilizer is going to be an issue for me. If it is, I planned on dropping the car off at a shop for the electical aspect. I'll be putting in the motor, bellhousing, trans and figuring out the drive shaft myself. I didn't know about the issue with the oil pan, Not too excited about that. Are the GS430 oil pans front sumps? Or am I going to have to get a pan modified/custom?
