Default A340 Issues

Hi my JZS147 friends!

You probably don't remember me as I've been away for what seems like eternity! The day has finally come to where my NA-T project is almost 100% complete! I finally put the motor and trans in the car and the motor runs and sounds good! The only issue is the trans....it seems like it is in limp mode or trying to start off in 3rd gear. I did a search on here and didn't really find anything.

I have a built A340 trans, fresh torque converter, and have AEM V2 for tuning. I'm not getting any codes or have the flashing O/D light as I've seen online. I'm pretty much building boost, and it's barely getting out of its own way!

Does anyone have any suggestions what the issue can be? Do I need to adjust line pressure or possibly replace the solenoids? The transmission was originally built by BL and then I had it freshened up locally with some billet internals. I've reached back out to the guy but haven't heard from him yet.

I'm so close to being able to drive it, it's killing me! But I guess I waited so many years, what's another few weeks

A few years ago AEM released a software update that allowed the AEM V2 to control the A340. You may want give AEM a call to see if the update is still available.

Thanks man! After doing some more research on Supraforums I did see that there was a hardware update available. I emailed tech support to see if it is still available. I sure hope it is something as simple as updating the box.
