Correct way to remove O/D button and back cover on shift **** without breaking?
Hello all, I managed to break it into a million pieces trying to get it out.
Is there a proper way to remove this back cover and O/D button on the shift ****?

I did it too don't feel bad. Slide the cover down under the actual shifter. Remove the two screws. The shifter Slides right off.
