Update: 4-1-13
So, after about 3k miles I can say she's great and has a few minor issues. So far I've had to replace the Pass. Caliper and also cut the rotors. Went into a snowbank last night (due to blizzard like conditions) so now I need an alignment, and it seems that I may also need tie rods and ball joints. To me that's all standard maintenance. I still want to handle the EGR issue and also change spark plugs and trans fluid soon. I head trans fluid swap is the best way to go versus a flush and I may do it myself since it can't be much more difficult than simply changing oil. So far, total on maintenance is about $200 with another $400 after last nights spill. I'm very happy with the car's performance and style. The stupid steering wheel lock sucks but other than that she's handled well in UPPER MICHIGAN in an area where the snow is over my head. Note, I have Blizzak tires and traction control (which doesn't give me much traction) but I digress. All in all, I would like to get a 2nd or 3rd gen which would have some sort of stabili-track or winter setting or AWD. But, I wlll most definitely stay with this company. OH! And I changed the oil (by hand) to High Mileage 5w30 by Valvoline and I can feel the difference in the engine. Also put in OEM Toyata filter (had a Napa filter on which SUCKED). Also, lugnuts were a problem with my car, but has also been fixed. Overall, happy camper.

Nice GS, hows it running so far? Did you fix the issues you were having with the vehicle? Has the handling of the vehicle noticeable changed after the tie rods, ball joints, and alignment? I am sure you're enjoying summer time with that sexy lexy.
I am also hoping to pick up an immaculate condition 93 1gs with 154k on the clock. My 99 2gs is lonely and needs a garage partner.
BTW, all this talk of snow reminds me how much I love living in Texas.
