hi jmai,
my geees is lowered about 1.3" using eibach pro kit springs. as far as problems there's the occasional scraping on the body kit but no abnormal tire wear. i did have a four wheel alignment right after i had the eibach's installed and that was 10k kms. ago and still no prob. eibach also offers a camber kit to go with the springs but i never opted for it.
you should check out the wheels forum - my wheels are up for sale.

keep in touch,
geees.

the entire suspension is stock with the exception of the eibach springs. keeping in mind my car is less than 65K miles old.

I have Eibachs with KYB struts and shocks. I have had problems with tire wear ever since I lowered the car. I switched from high performance tires to performance tires and they don't wear away too fast. High performance tires also make a lot of noise especially when they start wearing away. I have Yokohama now.

I have the 98GS' rims. These rims fit the look of the car just right...sporty body...sporty rims. These rims look small on the 2nd gen, I think they should be stock with 18 inch rims optional.

Default Well...

I've had my car dropped on Eibach Pro Kit (springs) as well (for about 4 months now) and didn't have it aligned afterwards surprisingly I have not encountered any abnormal tire wear. I can't say my brother was as fortunate, he has the same springs (in the same car, 93 GS300) and it seems that his wear out quicker on the insides of the rear tires but his fronts seem just fine. He just bought the camber kit for his car but hasn't put it on yet. I'll keep you guys posted as to how things go when has it installed.

Regards,

Seize

My story is pretty much the same as 93Lexo. Eibachs / KYB struts....switched from high to low performance tires because of noise issues. I have the Yokohama db's now for about 2 months. I can tell you the ride is much, much quieter compare to the others I've used before.
