hood won't shut

Looking to see if anyone else has had this problem with the 1st gen. I saw alot of stuff in regards to the second gen. I have had to pull the cable near the latch for the past several years to get it to shut once opened. I used a whole can of PnB to try to get it to work but no dice. Any helpful hints are appreciated.

I have the same problem, you probably need a new hood latch cable..

I had the same exact problem a few years ago. U have to replace the latch cable. I took it to my mechanic he did it for $25...... I think the part was like $40

Still have not been able to do anything yet with due to my girls car breaking down and having to deal with that. As soon as I look at those things I will post an update.
