Default w58 swap?

I read a bet about the swaps on her but most of everyone gos with the r154 tranny. But I'm going with the w58 tranny. They say it builts right up and i don't need to extend the shifter, but what about the drive shaft and the sensors. This is were I'm at I have moved my ebrake already I have the clutch assembly not mounted but I have everything I need. I'm about to get a w58 with bell housing and driveshaft from an sc300...and I'm using my auto ecu. If someone can clarifie just a little it would great!

I have all this people read my thread but no one has in answer that's crazy. Will I almost done mounting my clutch paddle and clutch master then that's done. All i need now is the Flywheel and clutch. Then its time to put the tranny in. Yeah..

Update on my swap put everything in. so my car is manual now yeah! I wish I can post up pics but i don't know how or even a vid. The swap wasent to bad. The hard part is putting in the tranny everything realy did bolt up just right. The drive shaft is to short from the auto and manual shaft so you do have to extend it or make a custom one. You can us the auto diff from the gs. You can us the auto ecu as will I havent had any problems. You really dont have to extend the shifted houseing my shifted housing was about 2in or 3in to close to the radio so i just extended my shifter about 4in or so.

For now I welded the front drive shaft of the sc to the auto gs300. I don't have big power so it wotks for me for now..but latter down the road I'm going to get a custom drive shaft.

Btw does the original ecu work? Mine's a 93 n the auto tranny kicks super hard when I shift to drive, takes forever to shift from second to 3rd
