Default trouble with gs

hey cl members im having trouble with my ride. The problem is that when i am accelerating it feels like something is holding the car back. engine revs loud but the car doesnt seem to move as much. The tranny is not slipping, i know that for a fact. Right before its about to shift to second gear its like something lets go and i feel the car jump and shift how it should. and then it does the same thing on second gear and third, and fourth. What i know is that engine has power but just something is holding the car back....
hope that makes sense and some one can help me figure this out.. thanks...

have your transmission checked out. even if your transmission isn't slipping, there could be other parts wearing out. also when was the last time you had a tune up?

i just did the tune up. i replaced all the plugs and did an oil change. I also replaced the trans filter and the fluid seemed clean when i changed it. I have a spare computer. So maybe ill try swapping it later and see if makes a difference.
