Default LED tail lights

so i was bored browsing on youtube and found this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_5jzQc1_28

which company makes LED tails for our car? I think it actually looks pretty nice. I know there is a bunch of LED tail for the 2gs but never seen LED tails for the 1gs yet.

No one makes LED tail lights for the 1GS.You would have to go custom and make them yourself or find some one that can do it for you.

They have OEM ones. Very limited. Probably can only find on Yahoo Japan and I was told after purchasing and shipping, they run about 1,000. A guy over here made some and was going to let me use them if he could take a picture of them on for website but I guess he found someone else before I got back to him. He was with the Top Hat company I was told by my friend who was the middle man.

As far as it's been known, toyota did NOT make them to be sold on the JZS147.
all the ones that are on units and sold on yahoo japan, are custom made ones.

any one that can read Japanese...can you possibly link me to where I can see a picture of the LED tails or link to possibly where I can buy some? mk3 supra. if you want an aristo crash bar you should give Venus Auto in Sacramento, California a call. I got all my aristo front end there. You can pick up a front bumper with support and fog lights for around 100.

matt,
from what aristo owners have been able to find, there are none, since LED's weren't used for taillights back in 91/92. and were still not common untill later 2000's

even then, if it was an option for aristo's in japan, it would have been done on lexus GS300's stateside, like all the new cars.

from what people on clubaristo(largest aristo site) ahve been abel to find, it wasn't an option, the only ones available are from people custom modding them

any possible write ups on how to do the led conversion? wonder if we can just take apart the tail lens and possibly stick an red led strip and hook it up to a power and ground source? possibly the brake light wires? I wonder where the guy in that youtube video got his LED set up?

he got them off yahoo japan,

and it's a little bit more complicated than just putting a LED strip in there, which is why they are usually extremely pricy
