Ok, so my car was totaled out and I want to take my JIC suspension out super quick. I didn't have a chance to look yet but is there a way to prop the car up with something in place of the suspension. No way the salvage yard is gonna get my suspension. 4x4 cut to size or some metal pipe fab.
Sorry...have to ask
What do you plan to do with your HID's, Suspension and the 3 wheels that servived. OR did the wheels Smash the Curb on the other side when the other car hit you.
I also have some Stock Springs you could throw under there maybe even work a trade or something
hey i dont really wanna sound like a **** but i was wondering where ur car was gonna get taken too cuz i need some parts like seats, window motors etc can u let me know plz im in socal too
i wonder if you can keep the car and sale all the parts. it seems like your car is in good condition and a lot of people want your parts. I have been to salvage yards, all the gs300 i've seen were all crap.
do you know which salvage yard it is going to?
as for taking out the coilovers...go to a salvage yard and get some crappy one suspension.
If you have lots of stuff to pull off the car, you may want to see about buying the salvaged car so you can take everything off. I know you have the Aristo center piece in the rear, the coilovers, and HIDs. If you've got a sound system and interior bits you want to recover, this may be the best way to do it. Usually, you can buy the salvaged car for this purpose at a pretty low cost.
My goal is to get another 1st gen GS. So I will keep the rims, HID, Headlights, crash bar, tail lights and fogs and JIC suspension. If i cant find another car I will sell some things. Anyone want to swap stocks parts for some trade plus cash or labor deal???
