Third Brake light

is the only way to remove the 3rd brake light is to take off the rear deck cover?

i believe the plastic cover pops up... if you gently pry up and out the cover should come out then you can remove the light. if you want the cable out also then yes remove the rear seat then the deck.

well i wanna get the window tinted and i want the whole window....so would i need to remove the rear deck cover or could the tint guy do it with just popping of the cover?

I think you actually have to remove it all the way to give the tint guy room, pretty sure i did.

you have to remove the rear seat, and then pull the rear deck cover off, it has the 3rd brake light mounted on it. it takes like 5 minutes to pull the rear seat, then it's just 3 or 4 plastic clips that hold the cover in place, pop those off, then pull it off, unplug it. done. no chances of anything braking
