how much do they flap? Could it hit you in the face or be distracting? Is it a noisy, violent flap? I HATE driving with my windows up, only time I do is with whiny girls in the car and when it rains, and now that I got visors, my windows will almost always be down.

A few people have said they used the 3m tape but they keep coming off so people screwed them in. Do you mean like literally screwed 2 holes through each door panel?

oh no they dont flap that much they wont hit you in the face but they make like a flag in the wind kinda noise when you drive with the windows down. And yes i drilled 2 holes and screwed them in like other people i tried 3m but they didnt hold. Also I have had these curtains for a year now and have had no tickets or been pulled over for them so I dont know if they are legal or not.

I wouldnt imagine they would be illegal, as long as you dont drive with them closed. Certain newer BMW's and Mercedes' have blinds that attach on the rear windshield and rear windows.

Well since everyone who has bought name brand curtains said the 3m tape isnt strong enough and the tracks fall off and have to be screwed to the door panel....why not just get skinny metal rods and bend them at the ends and have 2 small washers or something welded on and put the screw through the washer into the door panel. It wont be flush against the panel but its not like it has to be too high. It will get the job done for DIY. Look at JPGS300's picture, that seems to be similar to what he did.
