Is anyone out there into the whole Japanese 'VIP car' look? A friend showed me some pictures of these cars, and I really loved the way they looked. If anyone has any links to VIP car websites, please post them.

Thanks!

This might be a silly question but what is the VIP look that you both speak of??

Post me a pic but I think its a super heavily modded car.. Am I correct??

VIP'ish look in the USA....
I just couldn't do it on a Lexus, so you'll have to picture it yourself.

I will doubt you will find a VIP car here in the U.S.
They are mainly done by the Celsiors,Majesatas,Century,Chasers,Cimas, and a whole lot of others.

Although i will be probably the few here with a VIPish kit in the U.S,it is a bit different looking than most VIP's because it has a bit more body lines but in the same catageory. In fact i could be the only one here in the states to have one.

For those that do not know how VIP sedans look like in the japan there is the same post in the LS forum.

I have listed a few sites.

VIPs are the level of the car that you mod, not the way you mod it. modding a 3 series in ANYWAY isn't VIP. Modding a 7 series would be. Modding a ES300 wouldn't be VIP, modding a LS430 would be.

Your 3 sedan looks like RICE not VIP. They're TOTALLY DIFFERENT THINGS.

this would be VIP:

That's all the VIP'ish cars I see in the U.S. of A. or else it's just a car with Bodykit + suspension upgrade...Not even worth the VIP uniqueness.

Here, you all happy now?

It's the car not the style.

Elegant VIP, Wild VIP. You see a LS430 SLAMMED, 20inch FAT LIP wheels, widebodykit, quad exhaust, it's a VIP. You see a Q45 with a front lip, skirts, rear skirt, 18inch wheels, normally lowered, STILL VIP. VIP uniqueness is, to fix up these kinda cars in the first place.

you're tellin me GS isn't VIP?? nah man, we're VIP!!! its true we are!!

i dont exactly agree with you about that... i always thought VIP was huge wheels and really low, quad exhaust and a really low clean body kit. that is what i always thought VIP was.... i'm gonna say my GS is VIP!! cause its definatly luxurious!! good enough for a VIP!!!! (very important person)

see right now my car is no where near VIP.... but it COULD be VIP.... right now my car looks liek rice, i admit it, but as soon as i slam it but on a huge body kit and 20's and tint (if i did) it would be VIP....
