Default Dead Diff?

Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone has ever killed a Open Diff form an aristo... It seems some how I have... I was driving normally and making a right turn when all of a sudden I heard a huge clunk and the car looses power then it comes back on again followed by a few more clunks. After babying it home I find out it works perfect going stirght, and only at low speeds it's making these hiddious noises.

I still have that vibration on the highway at 80-150 KPH and was wondering if that could have caused the diff to go bad.

Other then that anyone have a diff for sale?!

no havn't checked the fluid to be honest, but that would make it size... anyways gonna pull it out tomrrow... anyone know the ratio and if a mk4 auto is the same... looking at getting a torsen LSD.

Actually i've been thinking about it and I think it's maybe the spider gears.

I heard these are the usual suspects to go bad.
