Default LEXUS Emblems "BLACK CHROME"

Whattup CL?? I just bought a '93 GS300 and I want to swap out the emblems. Unfortunately I have that tacky combo of Silver emblems, but my taillights have the Gold "GS300". I've already bought a set of JDM Tails...so that will look nice. But now I reallize that I want the "BLACK CHROME" emblems instead of the Silver ones. Does anyone do this on here, or have a hook up?? I've tried calling Lexus Dealership-Parts...but they're charging over $300 for the "custom" black emblems. Someone hook me up.

I want to do the same for my 95 GS300, but it was never offered from the factory back then. Only 2nd Gen GS come with black pearl emblem from factory. If you want yours to be black pearl, you have to have someone do it, but those peel off and fade easily.

Yeah the dealership told me that they would have to get them custom dipped by an autobody shop. they were going to charge me like $400 "installed"...that's a joke, I can "install" these things myself. Yeah, I'll probably buy a used set on eBay to experiment with and then try to get them painted. Thanks for your heads up...doesn't the newer year emblems fit on the 93-97 GS's??

not to get away from the topic but here are a couple of the same type of paint on fogs. Different lighting on those days but it is starting to fade a little. Redoing it this week.

looks clean in that second pic! i'm thinking about doing this...but my car is GOLD, so i don't know if smoked fogs would look as nice as it does on a silver or black car.
