Goodbye
I asked quite a bit of questions in this thread concerning my Gold 94 gs300. When i bought it 2 years ago it had 74,000 miles and put me through hell. Here is a quick rundown of the repairs i had done.
Alternator needed replacement
ECU needed replacement. Flooded my engine with gasoline and caused it to stall out. Took Lexus 2 times to diagnose the problem (thanks to Abear for telling me how to install it)
Starter needed replacement
Window needed repair
3 Oil Leaks
Never would have been able to tell it had all these issues by looking at it, and checking the mileage and carfax. One owner, purchased it from a Lexus Dealership. But Thats all in the wind, i really loved the car. And now that its gone (rear ended by PT Cruiser 2.4Turbo at 45mph) i miss it. I didnt take any pics of it when it was in good shape, anticipating the day i stuck some new wheels on and dropped it. But once it was totalled and the insurance co came to pick it up i took several pics. Here she is on her way to heaven...

And here is a (foggy) picture of her with her child (2000 GS400), moments before the coroner came to take her away. RIP 2jzge. Thanks to you all for all the answers.
Also i took my floor mats out of my old car if anyone needs them. They are brown. That is all....

Both of the doors are unable to close on the pass side. The exhaust is smashed in like an accordion and hanging on the ground, the trunk is of course damaged, with the disc changer and amp all bent up and broken. It actually got my spare tire stuck in its little cubby hole. And i dont know if many of you noticed, but the roof, and the rear fender is all one piece. I dont know if that is what led the ins co to total it out or not, but they did. The Insurance rep said the car was worth a maximum of $6000 in perfect condition over the phone, but that depending on the wear and tear the value would drop. Then the appraiser came out and gave me 5890 for it. Here is another pic of the damage.
and another... I'm guessing the frame took a good hit. I mean, it was almost 50mph impact. After getting the gs4 my funds are pretty much depleted. i couldn't afford to buy her back, let alone fix her too. Damn waste of a good engine, tranny, and AC compressor. People complained that the AC was TOO cold in that car.
No, with that amount of structural damage, you did the right thing. She's done. It doesn't look like much on the surface, but if the rear doors don't close, that's all she wrote. $5890 is not too bad a settlement. Congrats on the 2GS!
As an aside, the window repairs, 3 oil leaks, and starter are all things I've experienced as well.
