Default Transmission issues

I Have a 96 gs300 that is having some transmission problems. I have to warm the car up for around 30 mins for the car to go into any gear. I assume that something in the valve body is sticking.
My question here is the 2jz-gte auto transmission; what is required to use this trans on the stock gs300 usdm motor (2jz-ge). If I get the ecu and trans is it just a matter of swapping them out or is there more?

Check the fluid. Trans fluid expandes to 1.6 it's size when heated. There may not be enough in there to spin the coverter when cold.

kinda somewhat in the topic of transmission...(for automatics), but are there performance parts for the auto tranny?

I am able to use a shop close to me after hours and the fluid level is good and when the problem started I also did a 12 quart flush hoping that it would free the valve up that is sticking. After 30 mins of warming up it drives fine and shifts into every gear with no problem. Because of this is what points me to believe that it is an issue in the valve body.

The turbo auto trans is it possible to bold up to the stock usdm motor if so what is needed?

my tranny in my eclipse started to die kinda like that and i added seafoam automatic transmission cleaner (not to be confuse with the engine cleaner) made the automatic transmission start working for another 15k miles, then i replaced it with a manual tranny.

No, the turbo trans has a different shift schedule and other subtle differences which makes it not compatible. It sounds like you are on the right trail. It sounds like a weak seal in the valve body that will not allow enough line pressure to engage a gear until the max pressure is reached.
