I havent seen any 1st gens in the US with a 6spd. Only the 5spd.
I have seen a bunch of 1st gens in Japan with 6spds. Check out a few issues of hyper rev.

do you know what they used for the pedals?

i'd think the clutch master cylinder would be on the right side (passenger for US) for the ones in japan. might not fit on the US ones.. only thing i can think of is to possibly use an aftermarket portable clutch cylinder that you can possibly fit somewhere else?

don't the GS' in japan (i'm not sure 1st or 2nd gen) come with the 5 or 6spd stock?

GS's never came manual stock anywhere (Aristo's in Japan). Yes its possible, you're best bet would be to look at the SC pedal assembly for your fabbing needs.

I havent seen close ups of the jdm 6spd swaps, but the us swaps ive seen used a wilwood pedal http://www.wilwood.com/Products/005-...utch/index.asp
and like Kruso said unfortunatly no gs's came with manual trans stock.
I would look at this thread. Sick 5spd 1J swap. I just pm'd the thread owner to see if he'll respond to the thread questions.

Ask JPI Racing(That's Jasons ID). They are here in Texas ans they have a GS with a v160 in it. I don't know what pedal assembly they used, but he can tell you.
