picking the rights specs all depends on how low of a drop your gonna have to be flush. if your just gonna be using springs i say the mid 30s. if your gonna be on air i say mid 20s or lower.

i got springs atm but i'm gonna get coilovers in the near future, the car is daily driven usually only with myself in it. but i was looking at some 18x9.5 and 18x11 wheels

i was trying to see if there was a thread with peoples cars with wheel and suspension specs so i can get an idea of what will work easily and what won't.
any input is much apreciated....

This could be a useful thread...I think everyone should post a pic of their car and list their wheel specs, offsets and tire sizes. You know, as a reference to other members.

setup.. 235/35 would be pretty thin on a 19x10.
i think it'll bend your wheel pretty easy.
i would recommend 19x9 and 19x10..
235/35 and 245/35. it'll give you a stretch, but still have some meat for
your to drive. remember, our cars aren't exactly compact weight, so
we can go putting on rubberband tires..
i had 245/35 on a 9.5.. then i had a 235/35 on a 9.5..
i think it's safe to say a 235/35 is a good look on a 9.
its not a square sidewall, it will have a little of a taper shape.
i have a set of 225/40 that i might try on a 9.5 later on this year.
all depends on the tire your gonna use too. some tires stretch more than others even within the same brand and same specs. good example is the falken fk-452 vs the azenis. the azenis looks like an unsafe stretch vs the fk-452 looks decent. i'm runnin a 225/35 235/35 setup w/ 19x8.5 & 10 and do bout 2,000 miles a month with no issues besides tire wear if i ride dumped. you'll only need to stretch this much if you have aggressive fitment and need it to clear. other than that a larger tire would be more comfy and i'd go that route.

this is 20x10.5 and 20x12(with room for 13), don't know offset because the wheels were custom made by vipmodular. also he's running coilovers

I really don't get the whole stretching a 30 profile tyre as far as it will go over a wheel its 20 cm too small for?? What is that all about?? It weakens the tyre and presents a real tyre blowout failure possibility. Also don't you guys have any kerb stones anywhere you park?? My rims have over width tyres on with rim protecting edging on an still they get kerb marks. I like deep dish but there is a limit lol. I'm happy though for you guys that have perfectly flat roads and no corners
