Default Replacement Caliper bracket

Does anyone know where I could get a replacement caliper bracket for one of the rear brakes? I just changed the pads out yesterday and found one of the guides on the bracket was all seized up. Or does anyone know if it's possible to rebuild these?

Caliper bracket ? Are you sure your not reffering to the caliper itself ?

Yup, I'm sure. I've also seen it on diagrams labeled as a Torque Plate, but it's what the caliper actually blots up to. I've found a write up on one of the LS forums on how to rebuild the caliper and the bracket so I may try that. The only other option I've come across is to buy the whole assembly, caliper w/ bracket.

Gotcha, I just found a pic. I usually call that whole assembly the caliper. You can get a reman at a parts store for cheap.

I've called a few auto parts stores around and they don't sell the re-manufactured bracket by itself =(

Right, its the whole thing. You could clean up the stock brackets and buy new sliding pins and seals from the stealership but after all that work you could have bought a reman caliper. I did that with one of mine last year because it siezed. If I can find some supra tt rears in the next day, ill sell you my remans cheap ;-)

Brilliant, thanks. Looking into the whole thing had me considering doing either the TT or LS upgrade but I'd definitely need bigger wheels for the TT swap and I'm still reading up on the LS swap.
