Ok i have a alpine head unit 1000 watt amp and a JLW7 10 in the back. question is if i take out that stock subwoofer (saw a thread about it a few days ago cant find it now) will the sound get better, i miss how it sounded in my integra never gonna get that back cus the gas tank but anything better then what it is now? also i cant get the ash tray to go flush into the stereo kit..its really pissing me off hahah

 

You can take the subwoofer out, and yes it will sound better. Its not gonna sound like your integra, but it will sound better. I dont know why your ashtray isnt flush, maybe you should take everything apart again and make sure you have the bolts in there right.

 

check the spring on the tray could be a problem my had a problem once and it was teh spring
