Default Differential Leak

I climbed under my car today and found a leak around the differential.
I'm not a mechanic nor a lexuspecialist so please excuse my terminology

Picture yourself laying on your back looking at the rear axle:

The shaft that runs from the front to the rear ends at a """Silver thing with ridges on it""" As i'm looking at that silver part, there are 2 circle pieces about 1-2 inches thick that are about 6 inches apart. (If you look from behind, you will see that one of the circle pieces have one big allan wrench bolt, and the one on the right of that one has 2. Well the one that has 1 allan wrench (On the left if you are under the car) has a leak.

If someone recognizes this problem, please present a solution!! Perhaps its a gasket that needs to be replaced. I once again appologize for the lack of terminology
