Default Oohh Yeah!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, I have done it! Intrax springs, KYB shocks/struts/dampers (whatever the hell they are suposed to be called) Powerstop crossdrilled/slotted/vented rotors and Greenstuff pads.

Do understand that this is the first of many serious upgrades and unfortunately for the public, I am not doing the paint and bodywork until I have the exhaust and ignition upgrades (3" highflowcat, 3" resonator, 3" plumbing all the way to the back to a single 3" injen muffler on the drivers side. Gotta prep it for that 3" downpipe from the turbo kit I'm eying!!!! . I am going to try my hand at body filling the passenger side cuttout from the old exhaust (if that does'nt work then the guy doing the paint will take care of that for me). 8mm plug wires should be nice with some iridium plugs.

Next week the stock wheels are going all black, that should make those rotors pop out really nice, when I get new wheels I'll paint the calipers.

I'll post pics of the results tomorrow but here are some of the parts

Check out the springs here:

http://www.allcityperformance.com/inlosp.html

All the mods are done! I have been driving around all weekend, the pads are a 300 mile break in so I have'nt been able to hit them yet but I definately notice a significant response difference. The shocks are quite comfortable, in fact it's hard to notice a difference under normal driving (bumps are the first indication) then you hit the curves (and make sure you clean your trunk out , and the interior, in fact it's best if you have nothing in the car at all) and you really notice the difference with a much more aggressive response to cornering and switchbacks, I know I live in the hillcountry! Not to mention I am running on OE radials ( I imagine when I go with rims and Z-rated tires there will be even more improvement!) I was taking curves rated at 35mph at 60! and still no tire slippage! I am a happy camper!

I will post pics tomorrow I promise.

Default Oh Heavenly Bliss!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll keep the small talk down,

Here's the before:

and after:

The difference is really nice and hardly noticeable under easy driving conditions....... but when you hit the corners doctor jeckle turns to hyde and even with stock wheels and tires it feels like a sports car. It also is'nt too low for me to get up and down my hillcrest (I had a light scrap the other day but that will change next week with the exaust ((maybe)) hopefully).

I had to plug the bike:

And the rotors:

I'm almost done with the brake "brake-in" (that's funny to say or type) and I can't wait to actually feel the braking improvement when I have to jam on it (response is significantly improved).

Be Safe

You need to resize it to like 100x100 or something like that. I forget exactly what size the avatar needs to be. Then go to options and upload the pic and set it as your avatar.

Default Beautiful black SHIZNYEEEEET!!!!!!!!

These actually look better than I imagined, I am waiting on the lugnuts to dry and then they can go on and I can set the car back down on the ground (it's only been 2 days but that's long enough).

and a better shot of the rotors

and a closer pic of the wheels

Default Done!

I need to wash it and finish the grill (which I'm doing now) then I'll be done with the accents and can focus more on the motor until the paint and body guy is ready.

More pics to come in a new thread.
