Default Problem with my speaker box

Well heres the deal. I was getting out of my car about to go to my friends house before we go out, and something caught my eye. I look and on the side of my car right behind the gas tank there are 3 dents, 2 the paint cracked, and 1 the paint chipped and came off. I was bewildered as to what in the world happened. So as Im sitting there scratching my head I realize something, its my sub box. The other day I was driving and I wasnt really paying attention and my friends all went right as I was still going straight, so once I noticed my friend in his 350Z flashing his brights at me I slammed on the brakes and pulled a hard right. As I was doing this I heard my box thumping around in my trunk. It usually does this, but this time I felt it hit the side. So I payed no attention to it and just kept driving.

Anyway, I was wondering what you guys do to keep your speaker boxes tied down for those of you that have them.

Also, I will post a pic of the damage tomorrow because I didnt have my camera handy tonight and I'm about to go to sleep. See you guys tomorrow with hopes of some advice.

Cool

Since there's no gas tank under the floor, bolt or screw it down . If you remove it, just use some brackets.

Yea I would suggest using an L bracket. That will hold it.

Thanks guy, I will try an L-Bracket, if that doesnt work, I'll just put the sub back in the stock location.

Heres the pics I promised.

Anyway, what do yall think I should do to fix it?

PS. Please exuse the dirt, it hasnt stopped raining in Houston for the past week.

Always use brackets no matter what you drive , since in the gs your tank is behind your back seat you dont want to puncture your tank or damage the harness connection on the back side of the tank

if its a light box(haha like there is any of those) use a ton of velcro.
