Ok, so I had my friend pull up the 93 GS300 component location file...same stinkin thing as the 95. I am telling you though, I don't have an ECU. I will look again at lunch, but I am pretty sure it is not there.

well hopefully i wont be needing to know. maybe the new aristo wiring harness and ecu wont know the difference. i got my partner's sc300 done and back on the road tonight, so tomorrow i get to work all day on my car. I have to mount the wastegates, build downpipes and exhaust and a cold charge pipe.. it's getting close.

thanks for checking for me though.

I found it. Tricky little sucker. They hid it right behind the antenna. Just undo a 10mm bolt and walla, fuel pump ECU pulls right out for easy access.

I think I have been having problems with the walboro pump and the fuel pump ECU as well. I get no fuel at certain throttle and vacume between 2,000 RPM and 3,000 RPM. I think the ECU is trying to switch voltage and doesn't like the new pump. Pump probably draws too much current. So now I will do the bypass mod.

I think I was experiencing the same thing. What is the bypass mod.. just running new wire and a 30 amp relay for the fuel pump??

Nope, I just cut the black/red wire and spliced it to the green/white wire.

I am still getting the same problem though...so that might not have been the problem. This is getting annoying. I will do a 0-6000 RPM pull at 1/4 throttle once, and it is fine. I do it again, and I get no fuel between 2000-3000rpm. Not sure what to do. Maybe I will disconnect the vacume line from the FPR.

very strange.. keep me posted on this one. Do you have an LM1 or something? wideband and you are logging? when you say no fuel.. just that it goes lean in that range? running stock injectors? maybe time to step up to some new ones.

Got a zeitronix.

I am also running 440's. It was fine until I did the walboro and the FPR. I was pretty sure it was the fuel pump ecu....but not sure now. I still need to work on my map, so it might get better. Just really annoying right now, I am also stumbling at idle a little bit and under heavy load and boost, it sounds like it misfires.

ah.. did you change the plugs? odds are they are pretty old since they are so labor intensive to change. Try going a step colder on a copper plug.. not the stock platinums, and drop the gap to about .030". They are probably old and rounded off and you keep dropping spark.

They are brand new NGK iridium plugs.

Labor intensive? Took me 45 minutes to change my plug wires and double check the gap on my plugs and I can't even pull my TB off all the way because it hits my turbo.

I think it is more the coil. I will try changing that with high intensity MSD coil.

what did you gap the iridiums to? i know they say not to touch the gap.. but the factory .045" is way too much!

I have another coil I can try, it has 150,000 miles vs mine that has 235,000.

My plugs are gapped to .04, or 1.1mm.

i would drop that gap.. sounds to me like even with the iridiums that you are blowing out the spark.. i would drop down to a maximum of .035".. i mostly run .030" or less on turbo cars with stock ignition

.030 is what I usually run and it works good for me.

Did you have problems with .040? Sound like I will probalby give that a try today, after I try a different coil.

Now that I can use my TIG(wife wouldn't let me use it until after christmas), I can start working on my TT intake adaptor and get rid of my crossover Y-pipe. Then it won't be so hard pulling the plugs out.
