Default Favorite Tires based on performance

What brand of tires do you rank best in overall performance for your GS? Can you give an indication of your driving style also (jack rabbit, sunday morning driver, speed racer)

Thanks....

I have some nankang ultra sport ns II 's on my car now 225 40 18 and I drive about 150 miles a day and I drive hard. these tires are great. I had sumitomo htrz top of the line before these and they were terrible I could spin them easily and they didn't hook. These nankangs are great they will hardly ever spin even on wet pavement. I've seen similar nankangs in magazines for a lot less than I paid for them but i don't know if they are the same. If they are its a steal. great performance, nice ride, and overall they are quiet tires

they are the same tiresas in the magazine for under 100.00 shipped

I am looking at a set of Nankangs now as a matter of fact. I just finished a set of Nittos. Any experience with Wanli's?

Stay away from Wanli's They suck. I Had 3 set's and all them came apart in just 3 to 4 months I drive about 40 miles a day and I don't drive my car Hard.

Stay away from Sumitomo's as well... wore out super fast and im a Sunday driver... and I know its not my alignment because all 4 tires wore out evenly and pretty much at the same time.

I have Bridgestone S03s on 19s and they seem pretty good.

I just switched to Goodyear Eagle GAs in the front. If you all were wondering what Lexus recommends - that's the tire. I don't know why I went to the dealer.

I think I like them better than the Dunlop Sports (rear tires currently) and the Pirellis I have had before. I like to turn faster than most (not including those on here) and the car feels more stable with them. I heven't triend any of the other brands mentioned above.

I had some other weird brand for about six months but one picked up a huge bolt that was, of course, too close to the sidewall to repair. So now its mate is my spare and will hopefully never be used again.

I've got a set of Yokohama AVS DB2 SP's and I like them. I bought them specifically because of their durability/longevity and the ratings on tire rack were excellent. Overall I'm impressed. I drive 50 miles a day and don't drive the car hard at all so I don't push the limits with them, but they are stable, predicable and quiet.

My Bridgestone Turanza LSV have been superior in the last 4 months. I'd definitely buy them again.

The Goodyear Eagle GAs V94 offer a soft ride. They don't wearout fast.just dont turn fast cuz the car feels like your going to flip.

My Nitto 555 gripped like a dream. There is this long turn I take everyday to work and with those on I could do about 85 no problem going around it. My new tires can barely hold at 70 now
