Default Upper control arm

anyone know where to get upper control arms for a decent price? I know a while back there was a posting about the busings and not being able to get them without the buying the whole arm. When my car is in the air you can wobble the wheel and the joint between the knuckle and the control arm make noise so when I hit a nice bump it makes the same noise it has started to get worse the last couple of days. anyone have any suggestions?

You can try daizen polyurethane replacements. You'll need to take your UCA's out and have the old bushings taken out and the new bushings pressed in. You might as well do the LCA's while your in there. I think you can get the uppers and lowers for like 99 bux from sewell.

I'm looking for control arms too. If you either find out where to get them or find out how the bushings work out, please let me know. konoff@siast.sk.ca

YES! Since the bushing are made from Polyurethane, they'll never go bad again...on the down side...you'll have to regrease them like every 3-5 years so i've heard. I'd also do the sway bar bushings while i'm in there. The daizen swaybar bushings really rock.

I called sewell. They said they do not have the bushings for this car. (1st gen gs) He told me no one makes the except for toyota and you have to buy the whole upper control arm which is almost $500.00 and of course you need 2 of them . Anyone else dealt with this?

You can order it from http://www.irontoad.com for like $340 (if my memory serves me right). I replaced mine about 8 months ago and got it and some other parts from them. Their prices are considerably cheaper than even prices Lexus gives to mechanics in New York. Part like this won't be listed on their web site, so just use their quote form to get the price.

P.S. You can order only 1 if you want.
