For those of you wondering what the first gen looks like with an aftermarket headunit well here are my pictures finally. i got more posted in the electronics forum.

wanna give me the low down on how to change my climate back light to white?

 

man, i was just adjusting my speakers and celion dion just so happen to be a good song to adjust my BUILT IN cross over and BUILT IN EQ on. i know i should have picked another one of the 200 songs on this mp3 deck. hahaha

 

I actually do an LED conversion on the bulbs, you send me your bulb and I convert them to LED's in whatever color you want. I can also do multicolors, which produce no heat and are alot brighter, I just finished my NEW FLATOP LED conversion for the instrument cluster. I'll post pics soon . I just need to go out and plug it in and take the pics.

actually, i know how to do it but am way too lazy, was hoping you were gonna offer to do mine for free minus costs? haha. i think its pretty simple, basically just removing bulbs and plugging in new led with resistors? in line so that the voltage is correct.

 

Did you figure out the antenna yet?

no haven't figured out the antenna yet,

yes i did have a eclipse deck before it was a pretty old but solid deck. it had 3 pairs of RCA output and it was great and all, but i wanted something with more sound control. the eclipse only had the basic sound control. bass,treb, front,rear,sublev, phase, ballance and all that normal stuff.

haha, you da man, i'll try it out this weekend, its not that i haven't figured it out yet, its just that i been too lazy to tear apart my dash. there's soo many wires back there and its such a tight fit i don't like to keep pulling everything in and out.

 

Jon, the dash of your car is looks great with the new instrument cluster lights and new deck. I can't wait to see the climate control with white bulbs, then it will be really hot
