Default a/c smells!?!

What's up guys, well i just noticed when i turn my a/c on it smells funny like glue or funky feet..............lol.............and no, nobody had their feet on the vents!......lol.........but i noticed that it smells when the a/c is on and when it's off! (but still blowing) has this happened before to you guys!?!

yeah it happened to me too.

i think it was when i turned on my ac for first time after winter..after a while it was ok

I had that same smell in the car two days ago,It was cuz of the rain we had here.gone now.hehe.

its just condensation that gets build up in the AC pathway. what your suppose to do is about 5 minutes before reaching your destination turn off the ac button but leave the fan on so that it will blow out the remaining ac in the vents and dry them out. so next time you won't get the smell..

Before you park the car, change the setting so it takes in fresh air, not recirculated air. This way, when your car sits all the moisture can evaporate from the system. The moisture accumulates and bacteria grows, causing the musty smell.
